Mixed Poultry Grit

Mixed Poultry Grit is comprised of a mix of soluble, soft calcium grit and hard, insoluble grit.

Available in a handy 1.5kg re-sealable tub, or loose in 950g or 5kg, or a full 25kg bulk sack.

Chickens use insoluble grit in the gizzard to help grind their feed.  Soluble grit is used as a source of calcium.

Mixed poultry grit should be made available at all times.  Chickens will help themselves to the grit as and when they need it.
